The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed regarding the large quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support position designed for intervention encounters a large influx of potential website beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
